Climate change, digitalisation and sustainability pose complex challenges for regions, cities and municipalities. Since 2019, the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) has been the sole shareholder of IQIB – Institut für qualifizierende Innovationsforschung und -beratung GmbH (IQIB). It emerged from the EA European Academy of Technology and Innovation Assessment, Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler GmbH, which was founded in 1996.
